Teddy Sagi is a visionary entrepreneur and businessman with interests ranging from software development and online technology services to security, property and co-working.

Teddy was born in Tel Aviv in 1971 and founded Playtech before he was thirty. Playtech is the world’s leading online gaming software company and was listed on the London AIM market in 2006.

Six years later, the company successfully listed on the London’s main market with Teddy retaining a 6.3% interest in the business he founded to this day.

Teddy has launched two other AIM listed online services companies – Kape Technologies PLC, an internet security and digital distribution platform and SafeCharge, an online payment service provider.

More recently, Teddy Sagi has branched out into London commercial property through his investment in Market Tech Holdings, which owns the vast majority of London’s iconic Camden market.

Market Tech was previously a main market company listed on the LSE, since privatised and delisted following a successful and mutually beneficial takeover.

Teddy Sagi’s shares in Market Tech Holdings are owned via LabTech Investments, a technology led co-working company underpinned by a growing international property portfolio. LabTech also owns a substantial portfolio of central London properties including Holborn’s Sicilian Avenue, and it is also the owner of a UK technology business which is helping transform co-working across the globe. Teddy’s wealth is in excess of USD 3.5 billion, and he is listed in Forbes Magazine’s Global List of Billionaires. His wealth has been primarily generated from Playtech, a firm established with insignificant capital, which had extremely successful growth and at the same time went through multiple corporate governance and due diligence checks as part of its London Stock Exchange listing.

Teddy and his business have been also approved by several regulatory bodies and authorities in various countries; for example, Teddy has been approved by the FCA as a controller and beneficiary of Playtech’s regulated business and by Central Bank of Cyprus due to SafeCharge’s regulated activities. He has lately been approved again by the FCA as a controller and beneficiary of the  SafeCharge Group’s regulated business in the U.K.

Teddy lives with Yael Nizri, the 2006 Miss Israel, and they have three daughters and a son together. They have homes in Tel Aviv, London, Berlin and Cyprus.

Teddy Sagi has long been known as a tech visionary and entrepreneur. Now, with London as his family’s business base, he’s hoping to transform the way we work and how we shop. To find out more about his plans, visit the Vision page.
